WHY IS AVOCADO GOOD?
The avocado is a vegetable fruit that you can quickly offer to your child because of its great quality: its melting texture.
As early as 7 or 8 months of age, your child will enjoy a bit of avocado crushed with a fork on his plate. But after all, what's in avocados? First of all, it's not that fatty: "only" 15% lipids.
This means that when you give the equivalent of a nice teaspoon of mashed avocado, that's about 20g of avocado and only 3g of fat. It's not much and it's good fat because it's the famous Omega 9, the same as in olive oil and almonds. So, no problem. It's good for him.
In addition, avocados contain a little vitamin E (to protect the lipids from oxidation), and above all a lot of vitamin B9. This vitamin is very important because it contributes to cell division. Your child is growing. He needs it.
A teaspoon of crushed avocado provides 20% of its daily requirement of vitamin B9!
At the same time, we advise mothers to finish the rest, because all women need B9, a vitamin that they often lack.
That way, nothing is lost! Long live the lawyer!
